Electric central heating throughout and a feature electric fire in the lounge ensure you will be very cosy and extremely comfortable.

Tigh an Eilean accommodation: Ideally suited to six but can accommodate a maximum of seven:- one double bedroom (kingsize bed), one family room (kingsize and single bed), one twin bedroom (two single beds), two bathrooms, dining room with seating for six and a kitchen fully equipped with every appliance you could wish for (including dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer). All bedrooms have hairdryers and loads of fluffy white towels. Beds are all freshly made up just prior to your arrival with crisp white cotton sheets - a real home from home.

The large comfortable lounge has a fabulous unrestricted view over the Falls of Dochart. From the lounge a sun porch leads out into the lovely ‘cottagy’ style garden with sundeck (more fabulous views), patio, gas BBQ and grassy area. In the lounge there is Sky TV, DVD player, games and books.

Located in a conservation area within Scotland’s first National Park, many walks, level strolls and cycle pathways start from Tigh an Eilean’s doorstep. For the more adventurous, Sron a Chlachain is hardly a stones throw away, and Ben Lawers (Perthshire’s highest mountain), the Tarmachan Ridge, Ben More and Stobinien, and many other Munros and Corbetts are literally just a few minutes drive away and spectacularly in view from the deck in the garden. Fishing, cycling, golf, riding, canoeing, clay pigeon shooting, hunting and watersports are all available nearby and we are happy to arrange any of these for you. The cottage is also within easy walking distance of many of Killin’s restaurants and shops.

Tigh an Eilean has a strict NO SMOKING policy indoors, but smokers are welcome to enjoy the garden.

Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement only.
